Extra-Curricular Activities

At Brunswick North Primary School (BNPS) in addition to our classroom learning programs, we offer a range of activities and programs to suppor the engagement and extension of all students. These include:


Students at BNPS can participate in a number of Choir activities such as: Year 1/2 Choir and the Boite Chorus Choir led by parent volunteers, the Year 3 to 6 Choir led by Roby Corelli and the Italiano School Choir led by Signora Bruna Centofanti.

Culture Club

For our very keen language learners, Culture Club is open to Years 3 to 6 and meets every Wednesday at lunchtime time for 7 weeks over a semester. It gives enthusiastic studenti an opportunity to participate in cultural activities like how to play BRISCOLA, an Italian card game. It is a wonderful way to reinforce language and matematica!

Science and Maths family fun night  wonderful worlds of numeracy and science by participating in a range of rich open-ended hands-on activities.

Year 3 to 6 Camping Program

The BNPS Camping Program commences in Year 3 and students are offered a range of different and fun camping experiences each year.

Art show

Every alternate year our students get to showcase their beautiful and creative work with their families.

Music concert

Every alternate year our students participate in the BNPS Music Concert held at the Darebin Arts Centre over two evening performances.

Bike education

The Year 3 to 6 Bike education program run by Stuart Bracecamp teaches students important skills about how to ride a bike safely and encourages them to keep fit and healthy.

Gardening club

Our school gardening program stimulates the senses whilst keeping students engaged in all aspects of growing, harvesting, preparing and tasting the fresh seasonal produce grown at BNPS. Through such programs we endeavour to promote sustainable living and lifelong healthy eating habits.
