ICT & Library
ICT & Library helps students to enrich their learning and to become confident and creative problem- solvers. Our bright and spacious resource centre houses 24 iMac desktop computers and a well-resourced library.
The Library is a reading hub, with all students spending at least one session per week browsing, borrowing and reading. Our book collection is constantly growing and our students are regular and enthusiastic borrowers.
The Digital Technologies curriculum enables students to become confident and creative developers of digital solutions through the application of information systems and specific ways of thinking about problem-solving.
We build the students' ICT capabilities through the use of software tools and graphics programs for presentations, multimedia activities using movie making, podcasting software, and coding and programming experiences.
We teach in a cyber-safe context, constantly reinforcing the responsible use of computer technologies during online activities.
These necessary skills assist our students to become active, thoughtful, collaborative and ethical 21st century learners. The development of these skills can then be applied and supported in the classroom curriculum.
